Mary supposedly told a few people that she did not like oral sex, did not like dressing up as a slut in high heels which the shoes was shown as an exibit in court. It was not proven that she was forced to do anything. Her case was built on her thoughts about sexual play that she knew her contemporary FundaGelicals would buy as "ungodly". And that was reason enough in their mind for murder of a man.

It isn't in the details of the post, it is in the substance. You know, not the literal, but the spiritual?

I have been counseling women for years who have been abused by their fathers, or uncles or husbands or ....... and I am sick of it. mOST OF THESE abusers were "christian" men, who choose to abuse the women or girls in their care, or in their purview.

These women are scared, they are scared of doing anything, because their place in society will be disturbed, or their financial contentment will be shattered, or their lifestyle would change. They do not tell anyome because they are scared. And they are scared for their children.

So when one takes it upon herself, to kill the bastard, I say Hooray!!!

I do not approve of violence, unless it applies to those who are weaker than their oppressors, and then I say, you go for it girl.

So, Roselyn what do you say? You say report them to the authories? Yes, sometimes that works, and sometimes, if often, it makes it worse. So come down off your high horse and give us a better suggestion.

Why don't you go to some women's shelters for abused spouses and then let us know what you find???

I think you are an unfit counselor. You have not considered this case as independent from others. You just jumped on the bandwagon of pre-determined guilt of Matthew Winkler as a wife abuser. You have taken the word of a woman who was not abused, nor was her children abused. None of the abuse accusations were proven, not even by her own family members. But you are willing to convict the victim of a crime due to your prejudice.

As to actual abuse, I don't counsel victims of abuse. Rather, I tell them to learn self defense, to get their family on their side and their friends and police and attorneys. This to persuade the abuser to mind his own business or else. Then if the woman, after support from all this is not enough to satisfy her, and she wimps back to her abusive husband, then she's on her own. She should not ever again impose her problems on other people because other people have problems of their own and cannot afford to deal with such a stupid woman who wants to play with people's lives.

Locol news tonight showed a clip of poor little pitiful looking Mary Winkler petitioning the court to get her kiddies back. Tears were flowing from the rafters as Mary sat there doodling with her pen to paper. "The righteous shall rule in this house" one attendee cried aloud. Another yelled, "justice, is giving Mary her children". Matthews parents weren't in the house. But it was reported that Matthew went surely to hell. Ah, there's nothing like southern injustice to roar up a crowd.

I was just thinking. Had little Mary Winkler been an atheist, she'd surely have been sentenced to death.
